WELCOME to Mandurah Boat Charters,
Having owned and operated 2 self-drive hire boat companies “Blue Manna Boat Hire” and “Mandurah Boat and Bike Hire” for several years here in Mandurah, we started to see groups of families that were unable to hire a boat to see the dolphins as the maximum capacity of the Self-Drive Hire boats is only 12 persons.
Many of these families wanted a private cruise with just their group, not a ticket for a seat on a large Mandurah Cruises ferry
From the feedback we gathered from our customers, social groups and industry, we noticed a trend that there was a desire to be able to see the dolphins, explore the Mandurah waterways in a comfortable stable vessel that could cater for medium sized groups of friends and families of up to 20 persons.
With support from Peel Development Commission and Regional Economic Grants, This was the catalyst for the building of our first 16-person charter pontoon, named Blue Manna One. She was built here in Mandurah by Bouvard Marine and added to the fleet of our hire boats at Mandurah Boat and Bike Hire in December 2019 and was well received by people and especially during the annual Mandurah Christmas Lights Cruises.
Our Second Vessel Blue Manna Two, was also built by Bouvard Marine with a few alterations from the original design and ability to carry 20 passengers and great access for disability persons. Her build was held up with the Covid-19 pandemic, but she was put into service in December 2020.
With these two vessels, Mandurah Boat Charters is now established as its own entity and have relocated to the old Blue Manna Boat Hire Location at 13b Dolphin Drive Dolphin Quay Mandurah.

Take time to cruise all the way up the majestic Murray River. Perhaps tie up to the jetty for a cold drink and some lunch at one of the lovely riverside pubs , restaurants or deli’s.
